Cris here.

We have been cooking a lot out of Gooseberry Patch’s new Slow Cooker to the Rescue lately and I saw this recipe and new I wanted to give it a try. Ya see, I have this memory from a few Christmases ago when my aunt brought the most incredible smoky cheddar cheese and crackers to our holiday gathering and I LOVED it. If you tuned into the vlog this week you know thatI decided to give this a try and after a few minor tweaks to bring out even more of that smoky flavor everyone I have given this snack mix to has fallen head over heels for it! Aunt Lou even begged me to take a big bag of it home and then the word is she hid it from Michael! Shh!

Truth be told, by the time I had my version of this recipe perfected, everyone had taken a bag and I had NONE left to enjoy myself! Luckily it is super easy to make so I think a secret batch will be made sometime soon!
